In music, our children will learn the musical skills of listening, responding, composing and performing. At Laurance Haines, we will ensure that our children feel confident to express themselves musically through discussion and performance. Our music curriculum represents different communities across the world, and we are passionate that, through the skills of music, we are also creating musical opportunities for all. Our children have access to tuned and untuned instruments and learning happens in a sequence to ensure that the skills being taught are remembered. We love to use music to celebrate different festivals at Laurance Haines and our children are immersed in a variety of different events from the Harvest Festival to other events like proms in the playground.
